Terms & conditions
The highlights of how we sell. Placing an order means you accept the High Mountain Imports terms and conditions; they take precedence over terms on a customer purchase order.
Who we sell to
- Wholesale only: licensed smoke shops, dispensaries and retailers.
- All buyers must be 21 or older. We may ask for your resale certificate and, where your state requires one, your tobacco licence.
Orders and payment
- Minimum order $250.
- Payment by ACH or wire, check, money order, card or cash. A 3% surcharge applies to card payments over $5,000.
- Net terms are granted to approved accounts at HMI's discretion; the due date is on each invoice. Late payments carry a 5% late fee and 1.5% interest per month, and an account 30 days past due is in default.
Shipping
- Free small-parcel shipping on orders over $1,000 to the lower 48, or over $420 in Colorado ($20 below). Otherwise $35.
- No PO boxes, and no residential addresses without written approval. LTL freight is quoted. Alaska and Hawaii are quoted per order.
- Flammables: a $40 surcharge per block of 1 to 12 torches or lighters above 4 units, and $40 per 3 cans of butane.
Returns
- Stress-free returns, refunded as store credit by default. Defective electronics and breakage in transit are covered through self-service returns.
- Flammables cannot be returned.
